BP21 Asian Antique Desk circa: Late Ching Dynasty Dimensions: L 64.75 x D 27 x H 33.25 An interesting find from the Shanghai area of China. This traveling desk is a combination of East and West. This is a three piece desk that was has a definite western look to it, along with inverted bat (Fu meaning good luck) hardware. Made of solid northern Elmwood, we have maintained some of the character developed overtime during the refurbishing process on the exterior, while completely redoing the interior for today’s use. To complete the refurbishing process we have had our signature hand rubbed wax finish applied to enhance the grain and character of this desk.
