BK42 Asian Black Lacquer Artist Desk circa: 1900 Dimensions: L 72.5 x D 13 x H 34.5 This Asian Antique Black Lacquer Artist desk is from the Hebei province of China. Delicate, but sturdy this desk would make a nice addition as a hallway table or behind a sofa as a console table. Also it could be used as a nice writing desk. We followed the original black lacquer of the piece during the refinishing process, and have added a rubbed edge creating a rich looking contrast to this piece. The muted brass hardware between the drawers and brass pulls blend nicely and add nice finishing touch to this piece.
